For the first time in Nets history, they are ranked in the top three for team sales according to NBA.com. The only team in the association that outpaced Brooklyn in merchandise sales is the Los Angeles Lakers.
Nets forward Kevin Durant had the third-most popular jersey in the league, trailing only LeBron James and Giannis Antetokounmpo respectively. Nets guard Kyrie Irving’s jersey ranked No. 8, and his running mate in the backcourt, James Harden, ranked ninth.
Only two teams have at least two players in the top 15 for most sold jerseys in the NBA: the Brooklyn Nets and the Los Angeles Lakers.
Giannis Antetokounmpo, who recently moved up to second in jersey sales across the association, has undoubtedly sparked a huge amount of jersey sales through his stellar play in the playoffs.
