On Wednesday night at Wynn Golf Club, just off the Las Vegas Strip, Tom Brady teams up with fellow legendary QB Aaron Rodgers to take on Patrick Mahomes and Jake Allen in the Match 6. The fun begins at 6:30 p.m. ET. Below, we look at the Match 6 odds and lines and make our golf picks and predictions to win.
Brady will be making his third appearance in “The Match.” He previously paired with Phil Mickelson in both the Match II in Hobe Sound, Fla., and the Match IV in Big Sky, Mont. They lost both times, falling to Peyton Manning and Tiger Woods in Florida and to Rodgers and Bryson DeChambeau in Montana.
Over the years, Brady has struggled, especially in the early going during these events, and he has had self-deprecating humor on the course, which has been a hit with some.
This is the second appearance for the Green Bay Packers’ Rodgers, while it will be the first each for the Kansas City Chiefs’ Mahomes and the Buffalo Bills’ Allen.

The Match 6 prediction
Money line
ALLEN AND MAHOMES (+130) are far and away the better value here. Brady and Rodgers (-180) are rather heavy favorites, but TB12 has been pretty poor in these events, especially during the early going.
In his previous two appearances, Brady and his partner (Mickelson) have trailed after 6 holes. He just doesn’t start well but gets better over time. The reason the veteran QBs are favored might have something to do with when Rodgers paired with DeChambeau in beating Brady and Mickelson.
But this time Rodgers is with the underachieving Brady, perhaps the only time you can use those words and Brady’s name in the same sentence.
Additionally, you have to feel that the younger quarterbacks will have the length advantage over the older duo. This course can be rather lengthy in spots, especially on the Par 5s according to the course map.
Brady and Rodgers have played on this course before, whereas Allen and Mahomes will be newbies. Still, there are a lot of hazards, and Brady is most likely to find them.
However, Mahomes played a charity event here in April and won with Kansas City teammate TE Travis Kelce.
Brady is 0-2 in this event, while Rodgers won his only previous appearance. The underdog has cashed in 3 of the previous 5 events, and will come through again in this one.
