The LA Clippers got shooting guard Norman Powell back in the lineup Wednesday night against the Phoenix Suns. It was only his fourth game with the Clippers, and his first since suffering a fractured medial sesamoid bone in his left foot on Feb. 10. The first time Powell debuted with the Clippers, it was the main highlight in what was otherwise a lopsided loss at home to the Milwaukee Bucks. Powell’s second introduction to the lineup was a similar success. He led all scorers with 24 points while coming off the bench in the 113-109 win over a playoff-bound Suns team that rested its main starters.
