After taking a redshirt year in 2020, Rybka broke into the rotation immediately, and started eight games in 2022. Last season, he started four times and played in 11 games. He recorded five tackles for a loss and had a sack and two hurries.
Heading into 2024, Rybka is in a battle to be the regular starter at defensive end. He has plenty of experience, and is obviously talented. Big Blue Nation is hoping for a big season from the Senior defensive lineman.
