It will be difficult for the younger players on the Kentucky football team’s defensive line to break through past the starters. The front seven is loaded with upperclassmen who will play a bulk of the minutes. Tavion Gadson would like to get his foot in the door and earn some playing time.

Gadson is a 6’5″, 275 lb defensive lineman out of Savannah, Georgia. He was a three-star recruit and he was rated as the 59th best defensive lineman by 247sports in the 2023 class.
Last season, he saw the field a little, but redshirted. This year, he’d like to get even more playing time. The front seven is deep, but he has a good chance at being in the rotation up front.
