The Kentucky football team will have a much different looking offense in 2024 than it did last season, with a new quarterback leading the way. Every good quarterback needs a good tight end, and Kentucky has several candidates to contribute for them. One is Tanner Lemaster.
This is the next in a series of articles taking a look at every player on the Kentucky football roster for 2024. We’ll count down the days until the season starts, and look at the players who wear the matching numbers. The season is 88 days away, and Lemaster is number 88.

Lemaster was a three-star recruit in the 2023 class. He had offers from Iowa State, Baylor, and the Tennessee Volunteers, but chose the Wildcats.
He was a very productive player in high school, and was named All-Conference. Lemaster caught 53 passes for 655 yards and 12 scores in his final season.
The tight end room for the Wildcats is crowded, but Lemaster has potential. Whether it’s this season, or next, he could become an important part of the offense.
