It doesn’t feel like asking someone to please keep their hands to themselves should be that difficult of a task these days. For Draymond Green, though? That’s a tough one.
Green was indefinitely suspended by the NBA after punching Jusuf Nurkic last month. That suspension was a long time coming considering that just a few weeks prior he’d choked Rudy Gobert, too. Something had to give here.
But, apparently, this was all too much for Draymond. So much, in fact, that the Warriors forward actually considered retiring in the aftermath of it all.
Yes, seriously. Green said Adam Silver had to actually stop him from doing so. It’s completely ridiculous.

Now, is this just new content for the return of his Draymond Green podcast with The Volume? Quite possibly. He did just ink a brand new extension with the company.
Regardless, though, nobody took this seriously. It was like NBA fans everywhere collectively hit him with the “Oh, brother” treatment.
