The Houston Astros cheating scandal has now been roasted on ‘Family Guy’

So good.

The “Astros Shame Tour” hasn’t ended just yet.

The Houston Astros dominated last MLB offseason as details behind their multi-year cheating scheme went public, leading to the firing of manager A.J. Hinch and general manager Jeff Luhnow. And while no players were actually punished, this past season was supposed to be absolutely brutal for the Astros in terms of treatment from fans and opponents.

We saw only a brief look at that in spring training before the coronavirus pandemic sent the season behind closed doors.

But from the looks of the recent episode of Family Guy, the Astros cheating scandal won’t be falling out of the spotlight any time soon.

A clip from Sunday’s episode spoofed an ESPN 30 for 30 about the Astros’ cheating where Oscar The Grouch ended up being the mastermind behind the whole operation.

You have to think that some Astros player saw that episode as it aired. I mean, that would have been too good.

For now, there’s no telling what MLB attendance will look like next season. The NLCS and World Series were played in front of a limited crowd in Arlington. But once the pandemic ends, you can almost guarantee that MLB fans will make up for the missed opportunity to boo the Astros.

Even Family Guy did its part.
