The first phase, beginning Sept. 14, will continue individual workouts that have been permitted, but add daily COVID-19 testing for players in town for the later group sessions. On Sept. 21, the group practices will commence for two weeks with “group training activities that will include practices, skill and conditioning sessions and intrasquad scrimmages,” the league said. There will be a continuation of daily testing and “private living accommodations’’ will be set up for players and coaches. Participants must not stray from either the facility or the living quarters.
