The Falcons’ last-second touchdowns vs. 49ers resulted in a horrible bad beat

Brutal.

Two horrendous bad NFL beats in one day thanks to last-second touchdowns? It happened on Sunday.

There was the Philadelphia Eagles’ meaningless touchdown in the final seconds of their win over the Washington Redskins that got the Iggles to beat the spread.

Then, the Atlanta Falcons put together a run of two touchdowns against the San Francisco 49ers … in two seconds. There was the Julio Jones touchdown that barely broke the plane of the end zone with two seconds left. And on the resulting kickoff, the Niners tried a lateral play that ended up in the hands of Olamide Zaccheaus in the end zone.

So how was that a bad beat? The over-under for some bettors was 49.5 … and that last TD pushed it over.

That’s the worst.
