Look, I know it’s only about to be Week 7 in the NFL.
But if you’re a Philadelphia Eagles fan, and you need something to hang your hat on, then this will help a lot.
The Eagles made a pair of deals that could pay off with serious dividends in next year’s draft: A trade with the Dolphins so Miami could move up to the No. 6 pick and select Jaylen Waddle resulted in the Fins sending a 2022 first-rounder to Philly.
The Carson Wentz trade handed a conditional 2022 pick — if Wentz plays at least 75 percent of the offensive snaps OR 70 percent and makes the playoffs, it’s a first-rounder — to the Eagles from the Indianapolis Colts.
Couple those two picks with the Eagles being bad so far, and you have this, via Tankathon:

That’s right, THREE FIRST ROUNDERS could be theirs!
Like I said: We’re not even halfway through the season right now. A lot can change. But now Philly fans have something else to root for — lots and lots of Colts and Dolphins losses.
