Wisconsin legend Jonathan Taylor was at the forefront of NFL contract drama this offseason and that lingered into the regular season. He has been out throughout the first four weeks for the Indianapolis Colts, but will make his season debut on Sunday against the Titans.
In news first reported by ESPN’s Adam Schefter and now announced by the Colts themselves, Taylor agreed to a three-year, $42 million contract extension that makes him one of the highest-paid running backs in the NFL.
Taylor has racked up nearly 4,000 rushing yards in his first three NFL seasons, and has 33 career rushing scores. Badger fans will get to see a Wisconsin legend return to action on Sunday.
