The Feb. 8 trade deadline is fast approaching. For the Golden State Warriors, that means their window to improve their roster and turn their season around is quickly closing. As such, the franchise is likely to be listed in multiple trade rumors in the coming weeks.
After a sluggish first half of the 2023-24 season, it’s understandable why so many believe the franchise needs to bring in new talent. The Warriors are three games under .500 and 12th in the Western Conference. Given the Warriors’ lack of size, a big man or lengthy forward would be the ideal addition to the rotation.
Paul George recently discussed the logic of a trade between the Warriors and Toronto Raptors that would bring Pascal Siakam to the Bay Area. He is the exact sort of player Golden State needs and would instantly add a new dimension on both sides of the court.
