The Cardinals’ social media team hilariously trolled the Bengals after preseason win

Preseason trolling >>>>

Games in the preseason may not count, but that doesn’t mean you can’t get your jabs in when you catch a W.

The Arizona Cardinals’ social media team took this message to heart on Friday night. After a 36-23 victory on the road to open the preseason against the Cincinnati Bengals, the official Cardinals Twitter account took a shot at its opponent.

The Bengals may have won the AFC last season (coming very close to winning the first Super Bowl in franchise history in the process), but according to the folks in the desert, Friday night’s loss dropped them down a notch on the Ohio football power rankings.

Now, Ohio State should be very good this year and is the clear favorite in the Big Ten as it returns the preseason Heisman Trophy favorite in quarterback C.J. Stroud. But this may be a bit of a stretch.

This tweet represents a very rare double troll, as the Cleveland Browns also caught some collateral damage, being placed below three MAC schools despite their win over the Jacksonville Jaguars on Friday.

Some may argue that trolling a team coming off a better season after a preseason win in which starters barely played is a little bit silly.

But these people are anti-fun, and we do not listen to them.
