I honestly don’t know how it’s taken so long for me to discover that the Milwaukee Bucks’ pregame routine this year is to hold a faux WWE bout in the tunnel, but here we are.
Per an ESPN feature on the tradition, it was Robin Lopez (how did I know that a team with him and his twin brother Brook would be involved in this kind of fun?) and Wesley Matthews who brought it to Milwaukee from Portland, when the were teammates with the Trail Blazers. And the Antetokounmpo brothers — Giannis and Thanasis, now teammates on the Bucks — were WWE fans growing up in Greece.
