Wisconsin men’s basketball has always taken pride in playing stellar defense to prevent baskets and second-chance points, while also recruiting and developing numerous big men that were outstanding defenders in their time with the Badgers. In fact, former Wisconsin forward Ethan Happ made the top 10 in career rebounds in the history of the Big Ten Conference from his phenomenal 1,217 career rebounds.
Those that made the top 10 in career rebounds in Big Ten history are some of the most dominant players in the history of the conference including Michigan State forward Draymond Green, Ohio State forward Jerry Lucas and Wisconsin forward Ethan Happ.
Many of those on this list went on to have very successful professional careers, including a couple being inducted into the Basketball Hall of Fame.
