Tatum, already the first Duke basketball alum with multiple All-NBA First Team nominations, finished with 18 points, 12 assists, and nine rebounds before the end of the game. Irving tallied up 16 points and six assists while Lively threw home a thunderous dunk en route to a two-point, six-rebound stat line.

Even off the court, Boston assistant coach Amile Jefferson played his college basketball at Duke. Even Blue Devils head coach Jon Scheyer made his way to Boston for the game, embracing Jayson Tatum and taking a reunion photo ahead of the game.
