ANN ARBOR, Mich. — Michigan football had a different kind of challenge on Saturday, facing a Michigan State team that had been reeling but had come into the game with some confidence after beating Wisconsin in Week 7.
With it being a rivalry game and the first point on the checklist of most important goals for the Wolverines this season, the maize and blue couldn’t slip up. While it wasn’t as emphatic of a win as the Week 7 game vs. Penn State, Michigan completely dominated offensively, and defensively dominated the second half.
