Nick Nurse, who won a title while coaching the Toronto Raptors, has been fired on Friday, per reports.
It’s a bit of a surprise given that he’s been a success with the franchise. He was a well-liked assistant for five years before taking over at the helm in 2018 and led the Raps to their first and only NBA title. Nurse compiled a 227-163 record in the process and even finished .500 this year with an inconsistent roster.
