It might seem a little bit counterintuitive, but it is uncommon to see actual Hall of Famers in the Naismith Memorial Basketball Hall of Fame when they are not on-site for a special event.
But not all that long ago, a Hall of Famer was in the Hoops Hall. In fact, two toured the bastion of basketball lore. They also happened to be former Boston Celtics Kevin Garnett and Paul Pierce.
The 2008 titlists had their visit documented by the folks behind the Showtime Basketball “KG Certified” podcast, and a clip of the top moments from their trip to the hall was recently posted on their official YouTube channel.
