McKay was the Bucs’ head coach from their inaugural season in 1976 through 1984. Despite the infamous 0-14 season of ’76, McKay did manage to have two winning seasons with Tampa Bay. His son, Rich McKay, is the current president and CEO of the Atlanta Falcons. Before that, he served as Tampa Bay’s general manager from 1994 to 2003, including during their 2002 Super Bowl-winning season.
