Oklahoma knew it had the right pieces come back—a budding young quarterbacks, deep skill group and an elite defensive front. The Sooners then got a left tackle when they needed it the most in the form of Wanya Morris.

All signs point towards a serious run at a national championship. The players returning combined with the players coming up through the program has hit a unique crossroads. There will be some that are impact players in the future who aren’t in 2021.
