The 2023 NFL draft was chock full of trades. It’s one of the prevailing themes of the draft weekend. So many trades, in fact, that the teams set a record.
When the Houston Texans traded up to pick No. 205 from the Buffalo Bills, it marked the 41st trade executed since the draft started on Thursday night. That sets the record for the most trades made during a draft.
Several teams made multiple trades, including the Detroit Lions, who made six of those 41 deals.
