New Bucs quarterback Tom Brady earned a 90 rating in Madden NFL 21, a drop from his 96 rating last year, but one to be expected after his offensive struggles last season with the Patriots.
Brady will likely see his rating rise fast if he lives up to the enormous expectations facing him and the Buccaneers this season. Brady, a six-time Super Bowl champion, will be taking over an offense that tied for third in scoring last season, and features star wide receivers Mike Evans and Chris Godwin. Oh, yeah, and Brady will also have some guy named Gronkowski to throw to.
Evans will be looking to make history in 2020, and seems like a man on a mission to deliver. While we don’t yet know what Evans’ Madden NFL 21 rating is — they will be released throughout this week as part of a reveal special — we can look back to exactly a year ago when he voiced his displeasure about his rating on Twitter, after receiving only a 91.

Hopefully, the ratings people over at Madden have learned their lesson. Plus, with Brady under center, it’d be shocking if Evans and Godwin both didn’t land ratings north of 90.
