Another one bites the dust.
That seems to be the theme of the offseason for Texas as second-year head coach Steve Sarkisian continues to revamp the roster. Over the last week, six Longhorns entered their name in the NCAA transfer portal.
On Monday morning, another one joined.
Inside Texas reported that wide receiver Marcus Washington is expected to enter the transfer portal. With the additions of Isaiah Neyor and Agiye Hall via the transfer portal, along with speedster Brenen Thompson arriving to campus this summer, the opportunities for Washington would likely be few and far between.

The fourth-year wide receiver has appeared in 31 games for the Longhorns, starting eight of them. He was a solid contributor and appeared in every game last season, recording 18 receptions for 277 yards and two touchdowns.
With Washington planning to transfer, only six of Texas’ 26 signees from the 2019 class are still with the program.
