If Texas is able to grab another top offensive lineman this cycle, Kyle Flood will need a statue on campus very soon.
To say the Longhorns had a fantastic recruiting week in terms of the offensive line would be an understatement, as not only did they land five-star Kelvin Banks, but they also landed a very talented three-star in Cam Williams. The success in attracting top talent was not limited to just offensive line recruits either, as Texas was able to secure the biggest commitment in over a decade for the program in transfer quarterback Quinn Ewers.
It also seems like they will not slow down on the recruiting trail either, as they picked up another crystal prediction in their favor for five-star offensive guard Devon Campbell.
Texas 🧙♂️ pick for Devon Campbell (🏈)

Should Campbell join Texas’ 2022 class, he would become the highest rated player. According to 247Sports’ composite rankings, he is the No. 10 overall prospect in the nation.
Texas head coach Steve Sarkisian clearly wanted to ensure that they fixed the issues at offensive line this offseason, as that was a position group that saw multiple starting lineups, and was never reliable.
The Longhorns are getting stronger and better in the trenches seemingly every day that passes, and it is expected that they will continue that trend.
