Texas Longhorns vs West Virginia Mountaineers: Three areas of concern

No matter how hot UT is, there are always problems that can be fixed. Here are three areas of concern going into Texas vs West Virginia.

Running back depth

Brett Rojo-USA TODAY Sports

Starting running back Keaontay Ingram sprained his ankle against Oklahoma State and will a couple of weeks. This will leave Roschon Johnson and Bijan Robinson as the only two running backs left on the roster. If one of them gets hurt, will Texas have another option?

Johnson has been dealing with a shoulder injury since the Red River Shootout at the beginning of October. Robinson, a true freshman has had to step into the role of the main running back in the offense.

Senior Daniel Young was supposed to be the fourth-string running back going into the season but opted out due to COVID-19. Hopefully, there are no injuries to anybody on the field, especially Texas’ running backs. Otherwise, the great depth preached all season is magically gone.
