Bijan Robinson, Running Back
One of the staples in a Tom Herman offense is running the football. Outside of Ehlinger, the Longhorns have not been consistentt. The team and head coach Tom Herman have said they wanted to equally share the rock between the three, but with their inconsistency they need to pick one guy to do the bulk of the carries. Start with the young talented Bijan Robinson.
This year Keaontay Ingram has been the incumbent starter, but he has issues protecting the football. Roschon Johnson is dealing with a shoulder injury that has limited him. With Robinson again healthy, the Longhorns need to feed him. Robinson has the fewest carries (26) but the second highest yards per carry average (4.8). However, he also has the highest yards per reception (11.8) among the backfield. Time to rely on the No. 1 running back from the 2020 recruiting class.
