Hiring an offensive mind like Steve Sarkisian will have a ripple effect across the Forty Acres.
Texas is expected to have a more dynamic offense under Sarkisian and the one player who should benefit most is running back Bijan Robinson.
Sarkisian’s current running back at Alabama, Najee Harris, was a top five finalist for the 2020 Heisman Trophy that eventually went to wide receiver Devonta Smith. Given the usage that Harris saw this last season, it’d be smart to buy stock in Robinson. According to the latest odds from BetMGM, the Arizona native has the best odds of any non-quarterback.
Robinson finished his freshman campaign leading Texas in rushing and the most yards from scrimmage. He also set a school record with 8.2 yards per carry in 2020.
