Six. The number of champions the Longhorns baseball program has won and the number of consecutive games Ivan Melendez has hit a home run.
Not only did Melendez hit one out of the park for the sixth straight game, but he hit two home-runs on the day which scored four runs.
Mike Antico also hit one out, starting the Longhorns scoring with a two-run home run in the third.

Texas played a dominant game and never gave up the lead, outhitting the Wildcats 10-7, with three players (Ivan Melendez, Eric Kennedy, Trey Faltine) with multiple hits in the game.
Kolby Kubichek (4-2) got the win and had the best pitching performance of the series, pitiching 7.0 innings and giving up seven hits and only two runs, while obtaining five strikeouts.
