Unlike the previous two games, the bats came early and often. Three different Longhorns would hit homeruns in the game, starting with Cam Williams’ two-run shot in the top of the third.
Aside from Williams, Ivan Melendez would carry over his momentum from the previous game, with a one-run homerun in the eighth and Mike Antico would put the cherry on top with a three-run homerun in the ninth.

Kolby Kubichek (3-2) got the win for the Longhorns pitching 6.0 innings and allowing only one run with three strikeouts, giving Texas the win and the series sweep.
