Texas A&M’s uniform vs. McNeese has been announced

Texas A&M will go back to the maroon/maroon/white look on Saturday vs. McNeese State

Texas A&M’s Week 2 matchup vs. the visiting McNeese State Cowboys is another opportunity for head coach Mike Elko to notch his first win with the program, as the Aggies fell 23-13 to Notre Dame in a four-quarter defensive rock fight.

Until the Aggies take the field on Saturday, starting quarterback Conner Weigman’s poor performance against the Irish is a talking point for the fan base and national media, deservedly so.

Throwing for 100 yards and two interceptions, the redshirt sophomore needs to be more efficient in the pocket and continue working on his footwork ahead of Saturday’s game.

Well, maybe a uniform change will do the trick! After wearing white helmets, maroon jerseys, and white pants against Notre Dame, the Aggies will wear their usual maroon/maroon/white looks against the Cowboys. For fans of the maroon look at home, I expect Elko to go with this look for most of the home games this season after testing things out for the opener.
