Texas A&M’s 2026 recruiting class is making moves this weekend, as coach Mike Elko and his staff hosted a long list of talented offensive linemen, defenders, and skill position players on Saturday during the program’s first junior day of the offseason.
This week, Rivals Aggie insider Landyn Rosow reported that Coach Mike Elko and his staff are set to meet with four-star athlete Brandon Arrington. He tops the Aggies’ recruiting board and is currently trending with the program after visiting during the 2024 season.
Arrington’s nearly elite athletic ability highlights a player who consistently outpaces defenders, be it by defeating man coverage right from the snap or dodging linebackers on reverse handoffs, covering ground with long strides toward the end zone.
During his 2023 sophomore season, Arrington recorded 310 receiving yards, four touchdowns on offense, 25 tackles on defense, and a punt return touchdown on special teams. At the next level, Arrington could play at cornerback or wide receiver due to his speed and
According to 247Sports, Arrington is currently the 25th-ranked prospect in the 2026 cycle, the second-ranked athlete, and the fourth-ranked prospect in California.
