Texas A&M coach Mike Elko and OC Collin Klein are clearly focused on building A&M’s wide receiver room ahead of the 2025 season. Starting quarterback Marcel Reed needs as much talent and experience as possible to advance the passing game.
So far this offseason, the coaching staff has landed four wide receivers from the transfer portal, led by KC Concepcion and former five-star prospect Micah Hudson. Former Mississippi State freshman Mario Craver and former Houston WR Jonah Wilson are equally talented and have much potential.
However, after junior WR Noah Thomas entered the portal and eventually committed to Georgia, Elko feels that one more veteran wide receiver addition will elevate this group and provide ample competition this spring.
On Wednesday, 247Sports’ Matt Zenitz reported that Penn State wide receiver Harrison Wallace III, who finished his junior season with the Nittany Lions just a week ago, has entered the portal and will visit Texas A&M on Saturday, while North Carolina, Louisville, and South Carolina are also.in the mix.
Wallace recorded 46 receptions, 720 yards, and four touchdowns, averaging 15.7 yards per reception this season. Over his three-year career, Wallace recorded 84 receptions, 1,221 yards, and six touchdowns with Penn State.
Penn State wide receiver transfer Harrison Wallace plans to visit Louisville, North Carolina, Texas A&M and South Carolina, sources tell @CBSSports/@247Sports.
