Texas A&M transfer wide receiver visited Georgia this weekend

Former Texas A&M wide receiver Noah Thomas made his way to Athens this weekend

Late last week, it was revealed that Texas A&M junior wide receiver Noah Thomas entered the transfer portal after three seasons with the program.

While many Aggie fans were surprised, those who heard the rumors were less shocked, especially after the Aggies’ wide receiver haul last month. Led by the acquisition of former NC State WR KC Concepcion, Thomas likely saw the writing on the wall.

During the 2024 season, Thomas was considered the Aggies’ No. 1 wide receiver target. Despite leading A&M with 574 yards and eight receiving touchdowns, his inconsistency was a glaring issue, and his place on the 2025 depth chart would have been downgraded.

Still, Thomas is a highly talented coverage mismatch due to his 6-6 frame and downfield speed. While he can still return to Texas A&M, that scenario is unlikely, as 247Sports’ Matt Zenitz reported that Thomas is visiting Georgia this weekend.

After falling to Notre Dame in the College Football Playoff last week, the Bulldogs require a receiver like Thomas to help quarterback Gunner Stockton get situated as the full-time starter and help Georgia’s red zone offense.
