Texas A&M’s 2024 season ended at a disappointing 8-4 and 5-3 in SEC play after losing three out of their last four games, including the season finale 17-7 loss to rival Texas in the revival of the Lone Star Showdown.
On Wednesday, the Aggies signed 24 players in the 2025 recruiting class, including flipping two former Missouri commits, five-star offensive tackle Lamont Rogers, and four-star running back Jamorian Morrow, while five-star wide receiver Jerome Myles surprisingly signed, squashing previous reports.
However, 11 players have entered the transfer portal, including sophomore wide receiver Micah Tease, who has failed to see the field despite his four-star recruiting prowess and productive high school career in Oklahoma.
Whenever a highly ranked recruit enters a program, fit and how the coaching staff sees his skillset adapting to the play calling are everything. For Tease, playing behind Ainias Smith and the combination of Cyrus Allen and Jabre Barber during the 2023 and 2024 seasons resulted in just nine appearances and two receptions for 19 yards.
Micah Tease has three years of eligibility remaining. He is the second Texas A&M wide receiver to enter the transfer portal this month, joining Cyrus Allen.
