One of the major questions entering the 2024 Texas A&M football season is how Conner Weigman would fare under the new system. While the talent has been on display, he has yet to play a full season, and this is technically his third offensive coordinator.
However, the skill set is evident, and on Thursday the Golden Are Foundation named Weigman to the preseason Johnny Unitas Golden Arm Award Watchlist for the 2024 season.
The preseason Watch List, semifinalists, finalists, and award recipient are selected by the distinguished Johnny Unitas Golden Arm Selection Committee, a group of prominent college football journalists, commentators, announcers, and former players. The award annually recognizes the top senior or upperclassman quarterback set to graduate with their class.
