Texas A&M’s 2025 football offseason is off to a solid start for new head coach Mike Elko, as he and his staff are set to host another batch of 2025 recruits this weekend for the second junior day this month.
After landing a commitment from 2025 4-star linebacker Kelvion Riggins on Friday, Elko had already fielded another offer in the cycle, this time to 3-star athlete and Miami, Florida native Jade Card.
Similar to 2025 4-star athlete Michael Terry III in stature, standing at 6-4 and weighing 200 pounds, Card spent a majority of his 2023 junior season at wide receiver, taking full advantage of his size at the catch point while exhibiting an impressive run after catch ability paired with long strider-like speed.
Playing on offense and defense last season at Norland High School, Card recorded 38 receptions for 785 yards and 7 touchdowns, paired with 9 tackles on defense. Whether Card is recruited as a wide receiver or possibly a safety on defense, he brings enough athleticism to thrive on either side of the field.
