Texas A&M is a finalist for elite North Carolina State transfer WR

Texas A&M is a finalist to land former North Carolina State WR Kevin Concepcion

Texas A&M’s 2024 season ended with a disappointing loss to rival Texas, resulting in an 8-4 finish during head coach Mike Elko’s first season with the program. However, the future is still very bright, as the focus has shifted toward landing talent from the transfer portal.

Elko and his staff are aware of the portal’s challenges, as every top program in the country will be vying for the same players, especially at the wide receiver position. However, the Aggies are making headway with several top options, and as of Wednesday, Texas A&M is a favorite to land former Texas Tech WR Micah Hudson.

However, former North Carolina State WR Kevin Concepcion has placed the Aggies in his Top 6 transfer list, joining Alabama, Miami, Colorado, Florida State, and South Carolina.

While Concepcion was scheduled to visit College Station earlier this week, plans changed, but his interest in the Aggies is genuine, and a future visit is nearly guaranteed.

In two seasons with the Wolfpack, Concepcion recorded 124 receptions, 1,299 yards, and 16 touchdowns, bringing a blend of speed and excellent route running despite dealing with quarterback issues throughout his collegiate career.
