Texas A&M HC Mike Elko predicts massive turnout vs. Notre Dame

Kyle Field will be packed to the brim Saturday night according to what Mike Elko believes

The hottest ticket in college football on Saturday night will be the top-25 showdown between the Texas A&M Aggies vs the Notre Dame Fighting Irish on August 30th.

For the first time in the Mike Elko era, the former Duke head coach sat down with Andrew Monaco for his inaugural “The Aggie Hour” interview a few days before the season opener. Elko showed off his jovial personality, speaking for what was roughly a 40-minute conversation. However, before they dove too deep into anything he spoke about how massive of a crowd he expects this weekend.

“I think we’re going 107-108 (thousand) this weekend so we’re fired up….”

“I think it was the second largest student poll ever and students are fired up we brought some pizza out to them the other night camping out there and got them excited and so yeah we’re expecting an electric atmosphere Saturday night”
All indications are that Coach Elko’s prediction is extremely valid with all the buzz surrounding this team. I fully expect Kyle Field to be rocking when the Maroon & White step on the gridiron Saturday night.
