Texas A&M GM Derek Miller named ‘Top Player Personnel on the Rise’ by Our Coaching Network

When Mike Elko was hired last year as the new Texas A&M football head coach, he brought in his entire staff, including in the front office.

Elko hired Derek Miller as the Aggies recruiting general manager to serve in the same role that he previously did for Elko at Duke. This past week, Miller was chosen as the “Top Player Personnel on the Rise” according to Our Coaching Network.

Miller was the director of player personnel at Bowling Green in 2020. He took on the same gig at East Carolina. Miller previously worked at LSU and USC as well.

After following Elko from Durham to College Station, Miller added Shaun Cook, Allen Gaudet, Kayla Hudson, Kianna Jasper and Oscar Monnier to his recruiting staff.
