Texas A&M 2025 4-star DL commit added to Navy All-American Bowl roster

Incoming Texas A&M freshman defensive lineman Chace Sims has been rightfully added to the Navy All-American Bowl roster

Texas A&M 2025 four-star defensive lineman Chace Sims helped lead Richmond Randle HS to the program’s first state title over South Cliff earlier this month, as the ascending prospect signed his letter of intent with the Aggies during early signing day.

Just weeks later, it was revealed that Sims had been added to the prestigious Navy All-American bowl game roster after finishing his final senior season with 96 tackles, 11 sacks, 28.5 for loss, three forced fumbles, one fumble recovery, and twelve hurries.

Sims’ recruitment story was shaped by dedication and effort, as the Richmond (TX) native garnered late interest from various programs eager to change his commitment, notably the Texas Longhorns.

Sims continued to believe in Mike Elko’s vision. Despite the Aggies’ 8-4 finish during Elko’s inaugural campaign, Sims is very excited about the future and how the roster will shape out once the 2025 class makes it to College Station:

“It was not bad at all. Elko, first year of coaching, he did his best,” Sims stated regarding Mike Elko’s first season. “Once we get this 2025 personnel class, the right class coming in, we’re going to have something special, no doubt.”

The Navy All-American Bowl will occur on Saturday, Jan. 11, at noon CT on NBC. Texas A&M will close out the 2024 season against USC in the Las Vegas Bowl on Friday, Dec. 27 on ESPN.
