Welcome to Houston Texans’ history, Nico Collins.
With a 2-yard touchdown reception opening the drive, Collins passed the 1,000-yard marker on the season. He joins an elite group of playmakers in the franchise history as one of four players to post back-to-back 1,000-yard seasons.
Andre Johnson, DeAndre Hopkins and Brandin Cooks are the only other Texans who hit the marker. One is a Hall of Famer and perhaps the greatest player to don the jersey.

What’s funny is Houston didn’t realize Collins hit the marker since he came back out with the second-teamers. After hauling in a 6-yard pass from Davis Mills, the Texans pulled him.
Collins, who missed five games with a hamstring injury, will finish the regular season with 68 receptions for 1,006 yards and seven touchdowns.

The Texans will host either the Steelers or Chargers in the wild-card round next week at NRG Stadium.
