Texans WR Brandin Cooks being evaluated for a concussion against the Colts

Houston Texans receiver Brandin Cooks is being evaluated for a concussion against the Indianapolis Colts.

Houston Texans receiver Brandin Cooks is being evaluated for a concussion after a collision he sustained with Indianapolis Colts defensive back Kenny Moore in the third quarter.

As Moore hit Cooks, who was attempting to catch a pass from quarterback Deshaun Watson, the receiver sustained a lick that caused him to lose possession of the football. Moore took it away for an interception.

The Texans are already down receiver Will Fuller, who announced his suspension on Nov. 30. However, in the absence of Fuller and possibly Cooks, receivers Keke Coutee and Chad Hansen have stepped up to provide reliable targets for Watson.
