Texans vs. Patriots Thursday injury report: WR Brandin Cooks back at practice

Houston Texans receiver Brandin Cooks was back at practice Thursday as the team gears up for the New England Patriots in Week 5.

The Houston Texans held their second practice of the week as they gear up to take on the New England Patriots Sunday at 12:00 p.m. Central Time at NRG Stadium.

On Wednesday, receiver Brandin Cooks missed due to not injury related reasons. On Thursday, he was back at practice; a full participant. However, receiver Chris Conley was still not at practice due to not injury related reasons. Joining Conley was quarterback Deshaun Watson.

Running back Rex Burkhead (hip) and tackle Marcus Cannon (back) were also non-participants for the second straight day.

Center Justin Britt (knee) was upgraded to a limited participant after missing Wednesday’s practice. Receiver Danny Amendola was also a limited participant.

Cornerback Jimmy Moreland (illness) and running back Scottie Phillips (illness) were both full participants.

For New England, cornerback Shaun Wade (concussion) was out along with linebacker Kyle Van Noy (groin), guard Shaq Mason (abdomen), and tackle Trent Brown (calf).
