The Houston Texans released their Week 5 injury report ahead of their Sunday encounter with the Jacksonville Jaguars at 12:00 p.m. CT at NRG Stadium.
“He’s still in the protocol and we’ll have to find out,” interim coach Romeo Crennel said before practice. “He’ll probably be tested again today and I don’t know how that test will turn out. We’ll have to react to it once it comes out. Either he will or he won’t, so we’ll wait and find out.”
There were some concerns as to the availability of tight end Jordan Akins, who has been dealing a concussion and an ankle injury. Akins was given a questionable designation.
Joining Akins as questionable for the Jaguars were cornerback Keion Crossen (hamstring), running back Buddy Howell (hamstring), inside linebacker Peter Kalambayi (hamstring), inside Benardrick McKinney (shoulder). Those players were also limited in practice.
Inside linebacker Dylan Cole (knee), defensive tackle Brandon Dunn (elbow), fullback Cullen Gillaspia (hamstring), and left tackle Laremy Tunsil (shoulder).
