Texans vs. Bears: Time, TV schedule and streaming info for Week 14

The Houston Texans take on the Chicago Bears. Find out how to catch all of the action in Week 14.

The Houston Texans (4-8) take on the Chicago Bears (5-7) in a game that may be of little interest as far as the playoff race is concerned.

For the Texans, they are third in the AFC South as the Indianapolis Colts (8-4) and Tennessee Titans (8-4) are atop the division. Houston’s 26-20 loss to the Colts in Week 13 at NRG Stadium helped clarify the Texans’ fate for 2020 as they would need both the Colts and Titans to lose all four of their final games while the Texans win out.

For the Bears, their playoff hopes are a little bit better. The Green Bay Packers are atop the division at 9-3, and the Minnesota Vikings are second with a 6-6 record. Chicago’s only hope is to win out, finish 9-7, and see where the chips fall. A loss would surely relegate them to the couch in January.

There are other interesting side bars to the matchup. The Bears purportedly showed no interest in Deshaun Watson during the 2017 NFL Draft process, instead going with Mitch Trubisky. The former No. 2 overall pick has a chance to prove to his fan base that he is better than Watson.

The Bears also have never beaten the Texans in series history. Houston holds a 4-0 advantage. It is one of four cases of one active team being winless against another active team. The Bears get a chance to crack that goose egg.
