49ers 7th drive (7 plays, 56 yards, 3:49) — The 49ers had a nice, productive drive and faced a fourth-and-1 at the Texans’ 24-yard line. Rather than sending out K Robbie Gould, the 49ers go for it with QB Trey Lance throwing for WR Brandon Aiyuk, and the pass falls incomplete.

Texans 7th drive (5 plays, 16 yards, 2:57) — On a third-and-1 from the Houston 33-yard QB Davis Mills gets his face mask grabbed, and the drive continues. On a third-and-3 from the San Francisco 45, Mills throws a pick to LB Marcell Harris, but RB Rex Burkhead recovers Harris’ fumble. However, referee Carl Cheffers rules that Harris’ progress was stopped despite no whistle whatsoever. 49ers ball.
