Tyrod Taylor may have had a dismal outing against the Miami Dolphins in Week 9, but the Houston Texans signal caller is not among the worst in the league at his position.
According to Gregg Rosenthal of NFL.com, the former Pro Bowler ranks No. 24 in their quarterback rankings for Week 10.
Whether it was rust or regression, Taylor’s four quarters against the Dolphins were as ugly as his first six quarters of the season were beautiful. Houston’s struggles to slow down an opposing blitz weren’t magically solved by the switch to a veteran QB, and Taylor struggled with accuracy. Look for Tyrod to get more chances to turn the ship around.
The Texans are on a bye and on an eight-game losing streak at 1-8. Taylor will continue to be the starter as Houston gets back in action against the Tennessee Titans on Nov. 21.
