Texans’ Twitter is the 19th-best in the NFL

The Houston Texans’ official Twitter account is the 19th-best in the NFL according to a recent ranking from Complex Sports.

The Houston Texans may have made it into the elite eight of the NFL in 2019, but their social media game could still use some improvement.

According to Complex Sports, the Texans’ official Twitter account was the 19th-best in the NFL.

The Texans came this close to knock off the eventual Super Bowl champs in the divisional round, but DeShaun Watson ultimately didn’t have enough support. Though the season ended in disappointing fashion, Texans fans are feeling great about their franchise player, who is (understandably) the star of this Twitter account along with JJ Watt. Houston gets points for its creative video segments and documentary-style clips. Whenever Watt decides to hang ’em up, he should take over as social media manager.

Their favorite tweet was from the AFC wild-card playoff game when it pregame warmups quarterback Deshaun Watson danced around before taking on the Buffalo Bills at NRG Stadium.

The Texans were the lowest of all AFC South clubs. The Indianapolis Colts were No. 16, the Jacksonville Jaguars at 17, and the Tennessee Titans at No. 18.
